Chaplain Rob Dewey Senior Chaplain rob@coastalcrisischaplain.org Chaplain Rob Dewey has been an ordained minister in the Episcopal Church since 1983. In 1990, he began the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, a ministry that supports emergency responders and their families, as well as the general public in times of unexpected crisis. Rob serves as the Senior Chaplain and has had the opportunity to teach and assist other communities in establishing similar programs. Chaplain Dewey is the co-author of the Pastoral Crisis Intervention courses for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. He also serves as a Chaplain with the FBI, ATF, the State Law Enforcement Division, the Air Incident Response Team and the Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team. |

Eddie Driggers Deputy Senior Chaplain eddie@coastalcrisischaplain.org Chaplain Driggers joined the Chaplaincy in May 2008 after retiring from The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office in June of 2006 with thirty one years of law enforcement service to the local community. He has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and has received training in hostage negotiations, peer counseling and holds certification as an instructor in Pastoral Crisis Intervention. He attends St.Thomas Episcopal Church in North Charleston where he is the junior warden, serves on the vestry as an Eucharistic minister, is a lay reader, a children’s church leader and a volunteer youth leader and Sunday school teacher. He is also a Hospice Volunteer. |

Jean McDowell Jean McDowell has been with the CCC since September of 2008 and works with special projects and fundraising for Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy. She is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN and has a degree in English. Jean is a member of Grace Episcopal Church and is actively involved with their Saints & Sinners Group for young adults. As a Charleston native, Jean has known about the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy since she was in grade school, and she is pleased to be able to support this ministry by helping raise the financial support it needs to continue its mission. |

Kimberly Strang Kimberly is a native of Charleston, SC. She was a former member of the Charleston Ballet Theatre and a Stage Manager for various theatre companies around the country. Kimberly, her husband Dewey and three children are members of St. Michaels Episcopal Church and are very involved in their church community. She is honored to join the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy and looks forward to assisting in their ministry. |
